Backup and Synch using Dropbox

When we work using a computer, we have to deal with so many files. Managing multiple files is not easy. For example when we have to edit some files there, then we want to update our database with a few files that just edited. Doing this manually will be very confusing. To synchronize these easely, we should use a special application.

'Dropbox' is an application to synchronize files simply. But, it is not the solution to synchronize files or folders from several different computers. Dropbox synchronizes only files that inside one folder. To use Dropbox, we must first register on his official website www.dropbox.com. Then, we must download and install the client program provided. This program will create a folder called "My Dropbox" in our Documents folder. To open the folder, we can click it's icon tray.

Dropbox not only synchronize files on our computer, but also synchronizes on the cloud servers. So, we should always connect to the internet while using Dropbox. This is very advantageous. We can access all the files in our Dropbox from several different computers that has Dropbox has already installed. We can also access our files using the web interface provided by Dropbox. Dropbox web interface is very simple and easy to use.

When we register to use Dropbox, we can choose several types of Dropbox. If we choose Dropbox Basic, we'll get 2GB of storage capacity. If we are willing to pay $9.95 per month, we can use Dropbox Pro, which provides a storage capacity of 50GB. we do not need to update Dropbox, since this program will update itself automatically.
